Another wonderful gem we stumbled upon while just looking to stay a night while passing through — Huguenot Memorial Park is just across the bay from a naval base and if you listen close you can hear their dock announcements once in a while. Adjacent on the opposing side is a wildlife preserve full of sand dunes and sunsets. We decided to stay an extra day 😉
